Enterprise IT Perspectives from Silicon Valley

YEREVAN, Armenia – On October 9, 2015, the American University of Armenia (AUA) College of Science & Engineering hosted Razmik Abnous for a talk on “Enterprise IT Perspectives from Silicon Valley.” Abnous’ talk focused on specific areas for enterprise IT innovations, including Intelligent Systems, The Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and enterprise IT innovation models.

Abnous is former CTO for the EMC Documentum product family, a leading Fortune 5000 Enterprise Content Management platform, and was one of the original designers of the Documentum platform. He was a founding member of the Documentum team, which starting with handful of people and grew to become a leading force in the Enterprise Content Management industry with IPO in 1996 and eventual acquisition by EMC in 2003 for $1.7 Billion. Abnous is the author of several patents and the coauthor of several technical books. He also acts as an investor and advisor to multiple high tech companies.
